 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: Electronic Cigarette An Electronic Cigarette enables you to simulate smoking with less harmful effects of smoking tobacco or any other substance. It is NOT intended to be a nicotine replacement therapy. It is designed for those that have no intention to quit, for those that have tried to quit and found it too hard and for those that enjoy the sensation of smoking but wish to avoid the same harmful effects of tobacco. IT IS IN NO WAY INTENDED TO BE A TESTED AND PROVEN AID IN QUITTING SMOKING ~ Not smoking a real cigarette as a result of e-Smoking is simply a bonus! It is difficult for many smokers to quit because of the feel of the smoke in their mouths, visibly seeing smoke on the exhale, the feel of holding a cigarette, the hand to mouth habit and the intake of nicotine. The e-Cig comes close to all of these with the following benefits: How does an electronic cigarette work? Electronic cigarettes use a self-contained battery powered atomizer to vaporize a great tasting and odorless liquid. e-Liquids produce the same sensation (throat hit & smoke-like vapor) of conventional cigarettes but without the carcinogens of burning tobacco. The user simply inhales on the electronic cigarette and this causes an air flow sensor to power up the atomizer via an inbuilt microprocessor. The liquid in the cartridge is slowly vaporized. A water based vapor is released and it resembles smoke. Note: This is Vapor, NOT smoke, as no burning has taken place to cause smoke. What is in the Cartridge or e-Liquid? The cartridge is a mixture of liquid-nicotine, tobacco extract flavorings and / or a combination of Propylene glycol (PG) and Glycerin (VG). We do not recommend mixing any of our e-Liquids with other brands, additives or products. What powers the device? A rechargeable lithium ion battery. They do a great job but wear out faster than in other appliances due to higher performance requirements of an e-Cig and smaller battery size. Battery Charging Try to have a minimum of 3 batteries and 2 chargers to ensure never having to wait for a battery. What strength is recommended for a good Throat Hit/Nic Hit? Start with an 11MG (Medium) e-Liquid and if the throat hit is too much or too little, change to higher or lower strength until you are satisfied. Advanced Users What is that burning taste? This is a sign that the cart has run dry and the cart insert has heated up. Usually occurs due to the user trying to get the last drop out of an expensive pre-filled cart. Top up cart immediately. Fluid is your friend - top up regularly to avoid this problem. Cleaning an atomizer Remove the atomizer and use a portable steam cleaner for 1 minute on the protruding steel wick. Dry thoroughly, add 2 drops of liquid to wick before use. More Caring & Tips If you feel you miss the hit of a real cigarette in the morning, have a HIGH of 16Mg e-Cig ready. Then go back to lower ones during the day if desired. Cleaning an atomizer Remove the atomizer and use a portable steam cleaner for 1 minute on the protruding steel wick. Dry thoroughly, add 2 drops of liquid to wick before use. More Caring & Tips If you feel you miss the hit of a real cigarette in the morning, have a HIGH 24 e-Cig ready. Then go back to lower ones during the day if desired. Buy a cheap steam cleaner to clean your atomizers when needed to prolong their life. Some Atomizers have been known to last 6 months or more using this method. A dry atomizer will shorten its life and at worst will burn it out - destroying it. Keep the cart moist at all times and if at ANY time you taste a burnt taste, pop the Cart off and fill it and also add some drops of e-Liquid directly onto the atomizer. This will prolong its life. Using pre filled carts is not only expensive but some during the manufacturing process are not full (which can damage your atomizer). Also because of the cost of pre filled carts, many users try to use up every last drop but this only results in the expense of replacing damaged atomizers. |
